Specifications

Providing and laying 3 mm average thick, EPU based self-smoothing floor topping:

The system includes surface preparation by mechanical grinding/scarification or any suitable means, to suit to the base concrete floor conditions, to remove any loose materials, contaminants and laitance to provide a sound base and good anchoring, then vacuum and manual cleaning of all loose/dust particles, preparing sub surface, opening and filling of cracks above 1mm joints with suitable epoxy mortar etc, all complete, as per manufacturer’s specifications.

Providing and applying solvent-free epoxy primer, Cipoxy 17 or equivalent, having equal volumetric ratio of mixing of resin and hardener on a properly prepared concrete substrate, followed by 1.8 mm average thick epoxy screed, using solvent-free epoxy, Cipoxy 17 or similar, having equal volumetric ratio of mixing of resin and hardener, along with graded aggregates, FAG 200 or similar, with a mixing ratio of polymer to aggregates as 1:2.5, followed by applying 1 mm average thick, EPU self-levelling system, Cipothane SL or equivalent, and deaerating the layer by spike roller to dislodge the entrapped air and allowing to cure at ambient temperature for 48 hours to achieve the optimum properties.

Providing and laying 2 mm average thick, EPU Static dissipative flooring:

Providing and preparing the concrete surface by shot blasting or scarifying or diamond grinding equipment to remove any loose materials, contaminants and laitance to provide a sound, fine gripping surface, and then opening the cracks above 1mm and cold joints and filling with epoxy mortar and cleaning the entire floor area using a powerful industrial vacuum cleaner. Over the prepared surface, solvent free epoxy primer of Cipoxy 16/17 or equivalent is applied as a moisture tolerant epoxy primer for average thickness of 200 microns. On the primed surface, self-adhesive copper tape of conductive grade, of thickness 50–100 microns is stuck and connected to a permanent earth ground. Conductive coat of Aquoxy ESD of Cipy, which forms the electrical plane through which static charges are dissipated, shall be applied, followed by a conductive grade EPU self-levelling flooring, Cipothane ESD 108 of Cipy or equivalent, shall be applied at a thickness of 1700 microns. The coated layer is deaerated by using a spike roller evenly and smoothly, so that carbon fibres are equally distributed across the area.

Providing and laying 3 mm average thick, EPU conductive flooring:
Providing and preparing the concrete surface by shot blasting or scarifying or diamond grinding equipment to remove any loose materials, contaminants and laitance to provide a sound, fine gripping surface, and then opening the cracks above 1mm and cold joints and filling with epoxy mortar and cleaning the floor area using a powerful industrial vacuum cleaner.
Over the prepared surface, solvent free epoxy primer of Cipoxy 16/17 or equivalent is applied as a high build moisture tolerant epoxy primer for a thickness of 200 microns. A self-levelling epoxy screed using Cipoxy 17/15 with graded aggregates with a thickness of 1700 microns shall be applied. On the screed surface, self-adhesive copper tape of conductive grade, of thickness 50–100 microns is stuck and connected to a permanent earth ground. Conductive coat of Aquoxy ESD of Cipy, which forms the electrical plane through which static charges are dissipated, shall be applied at a thickness of 100 microns, followed by a conductive grade Epoxy self-levelling flooring, Statguard ESD 104 of Cipy or equivalent, shall be applied at a thickness of 1000 microns. The coated layer is deaerated by using a spike roller evenly and smoothly, so that carbon fibres are equally distributed across the area.
