    M
    Mar resistance
    The ability of a dried film to resist visual damage caused by light abrasion, impact or pressure.
    MCU
    Moisture curing urethane
    Melting point
    The temperature at which a solid becomes a liquid.
    MFFT
    The minimum temperature at which the emulsion polymer forms a continuous film.
    Mildew resistance
    The ability of the coating to resist mold and fungi.
    Miscible
    The capability of being mixed; mutually soluble.
    Mixing ratio
    The proportionate combining weights or volumes of resin, and hardener of a two component system.
    Modifier
    Any material that when added to a resin/curing agent combination causes a change in properties.
    Modulus of elasticity
    The ratio of unit stress to unit strain.

    An irregular broken network of cracks in the dried film. Normally associated with zinc silicate primers.
